Policies

How QIK handles bookings, cancellations, and expectations for clients and photographers using @QIKmvpbot.

Cancellations & strike policy

Late cancellations and no-shows affect everyone on the platform. Times below are measured from the scheduled shoot start. Use your booking thread or /mygigs so the other party is notified right away.

For clients

  • More than 1 hour before — cancel with no penalty.
  • 30–60 minutes before — counts as 1 strike.
  • Less than 30 minutes before — counts as 2 strikes.
  • 3 strikes within any rolling 30-day window — temporary restriction on new bookings.

For photographers

  • More than 1 hour before — cancel with no penalty.
  • 30–60 minutes before1 strike.
  • Less than 30 minutes before2 strikes.
  • 3 strikes within any rolling 30-day window — profile is auto-paused from receiving gig notifications; admin is notified.
  • No-showimmediate auto-pause; admin reviews before any reinstatement.

General

  • Strikes use a rolling 30-day window — they drop off over time; this is not a lifetime ban by default.
  • If a photographer cancels after you’ve confirmed them, you can look for a replacement for the same slot or cancel the booking entirely.
  • When we help you find a replacement, the photographer who cancelled won’t be eligible for that rescheduled gig.

Bookings & packages

Packages and pricing shown on our site and in the bot (e.g. 15 / 30 / 60 minute sessions at stated fee levels) are fixed at booking unless both sides agree to a change in chat before the shoot is confirmed.

Bookings are coordinated through Telegram; confirmations and reminders are delivered in your DMs.

Reviews & conduct

After a completed shoot, clients may rate and tag their experience. Ratings and reviews are shown on photographer profiles to help others book with confidence.

Harassment, no-shows without notice, or abuse of the platform may result in restricted access. Report issues to qik.network@gmail.com.
